My Success Story:

My story begins when my son was a senior in high school and suddenly wanted to attend college away from home.
Like many of you, we were clueless in starting the scholarship search process, how to locate scholarships and
waited until his senior year to begin the search process. My son was active in school, involved in sports,
drama and volunteered in the community. Although he achieved a 3.5 GPA, 1240 SAT score, took honors and advanced
placement classes and was in the top 16% of his senior class, he was not at the top of his graduating class.

As the realities of college expenses sunk in I decided to be proactive and that a team approach was the best
starting point so I made a partnership with my son. He would concentrate on achieving good grades, higher SAT
score, school activities, community volunteering, etc., and I would tackle the internet to find scholarships.

Our partnership was very successful! In a very short time frame, my son was awarded three scholarships that paid
almost 50% of his first year college expenses. Today, my son continues to apply for scholarships while in college.
After receiving enormous support and advice from neighbors, family, friends and mentors, I compiled my research
notes and wrote the "College Scholarship Search Guide", created a website and started my own College Scholarship
Search consulting business. My services include individual and group consultation sessions, workshops and through
